How Does it Work?
Reflexology is based on the theory that there are reflex areas in the hands and feet that correspond to all of the glands, organs, and other parts of the body. Stimulating these reflexes has one or more of the following effects on the corresponding area. This helps the parasympathetic nervous system to "kick in" which puts our bodies into a healing phase. This helps the body to heal itself by helping oxygen and nutrients get into the places they need to go.
